Dinetta and Tom Kerfoot took $298,000 from an elderly widow and left her home in shambles.
They told Delaware State Police they knew in October of 2023 that they weren't going to finish the job, but still took $124,000 after that point. THEFT.
ALSO in October of 2023, they took a deposit of nearly $80,000 from their second victim who not only lost her home but also a dear friend in her house fire. In her case, they didn't really even get started other than boarding up the home. BUT, they submitted a supplemental invoice to her insurance company for work they didn't do. INSURANCE FRAUD.

Dinetta Kerfoot and her husband Tom owned and operated Cornerstone Restoration, Belair, MD.
In Tom's bankruptcy hearing, he claimed Dinetta was "merely an employee". However, she represented the company as and owner with the BBB and the MHIC. And she surely took money on their behalf.
There's much more information to share, but I wanted to get this website up and running. My main goal is to make sure the Kerfoots are not able to claim any other victims. They tend to prey on vulnerable individuals.
